The 9850/9750 series is the most USER FRIENDLY of the bunch. Loading the programs from the FA-123 USB Computer Link is very easy. Built very tough for shop use. It has a smaller color screen, but still very easy to read. The 9850GC has 64kb RAM. The other 9850 Models have 32kb and will not fit all of the programs. The 9750 series only has 28kb and not recommended but will work.

The FX-9860G Std. and the FX-9860G Slim are a newer updated version of the 9850 series calculators. They are, for all practical purposes, the same Calculator functionaly. The keyboard is layed out differently on the "Slim", and the "Slim" has a Back-Lite, very good for jobsite work in dark rooms and dark areas. It's also good for office use because you can fold it and it fits very well in your shirt pocket. The 9860 Std. is a very tough unit like the 9850 series and good for shop, bench & Field work. I personally wouldn't recomend the "Slim" for shop & field use, but thats just my opinion. The 9860's has a new large Black & White screen that is very easy to read. These Units have 64kb Plus Memory (Read Manual) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
