These programs were designed for Bench and Field use, primarily for the CUSTOM SHEET METAL Trade; however they can be used by most trades, Air Conditioning Trade, Welding Trades, Plumbing Trades, Carpenter Trades, Insulation Lagging, Machine Shops, CAD & more. I consider this “Program/Calculator” combination a very useful TOOL rather than a computer because its portable and you can take it anywhere, on any job and use it on the spot. I wrote the "VISUAL" manual that comes with it for people that can read pictures and drawings easier than they can read and understand written words of instruction. You, in a way, use the MANUAL like a PC Monitor. The calculator prompts you for Specific Inputs and gives you specific Outputs by name so there is no guessing at what it is trying to relate to you, see below. The best way to use this Manual is to just sit down and relax with calculator in hand and go thru each of the Layouts “Input’s & Output’s” that are shown in the manual, remember you don’t need to know the math, and look at where each dimension is shown and where the A to B, B to C Etc. points are placed and where the equal spacings are placed. If you do this everything will make sense and it will become very user friendly and you probably won’t need to use the Manual much. All of the programs read in DECIMAL form first, then reads in FRACTIONAL form second, to the closest 32nd of an inch, plus or minus a 64th, (Default) of the Decimal readout, see below. This makes it easier for the average person to read in fractions if he/she is not familiar with decimals. You can look at a decimal readout as a percentage of an inch, example: 9/16" = .5625" or 56 percent of an inch, a 1/16" over a half an inch. Below are sample read-outs from the Square to Round Program.
